Eberhardt Objects understands design as an architectural discipline. Since its founding in 2015 by Steffen Eberhardt in Frankfurt am Main, the studio has developed interiors, furniture and objects that are not additively composed, but constructively developed. Every element justifies its place through logic — not through appearance.

Steffen Eberhardt trained as a carpenter before studying architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. That sequence is not incidental. It established a way of thinking in which material, construction and proportion are structural necessities rather than decorative considerations. Quality, in his understanding, is a question of consequence, not one of effort.

The focus lies on spatial order, precise proportion and the logical relationship between material, function and structure. Characteristic is a reduced formal language of clean lines and sculptural volumes, derived from the spatial logic of each project. Light and colour are not deployed decoratively but as planning instruments for zoning, orientation and atmospheric differentiation.

Projects span restaurants, bars, retail spaces, workplaces and private residences. Across all typologies, the approach remains the same: spaces are not filled, they are composed. Furniture is developed as spatial components, materials as constructive statement. Function precedes form — not as style, but as methodical conviction.

The studio‘s furniture series, manufactured in Frankfurt, occupy the space between functional object and considered form. Each piece emerges from its context — in proportion, material and detail — built to endure beyond the moment of its making. Spaces and objects of quiet precision and lasting clarity: giving structure, rather than demanding attention.
